Got a disability, hidden or visible? Want to travel the world anyway? Wouldn’t it be great if there were more (or in some cases, any) books and web sites that helped you find attractions, hotels, restaurants, night clubs, public transit, and other things that are friendly for folks with your condition? I think so! I want to start a web site specifically for those of us who deal with the so called “hidden” disabilities–pain, fatigue, dietary restrictions, digestive foo.

I kind of wanted to be the first, but I gotta tell ya–I like this new wiki:

It does focus on help for mobility, but it also highlights one of my own pet needs–where’s the nearest bathroom???

I haven’t read it all yet, but I’m really excited to see that the notion of disabled folks getting out and traveling is out in the virtual world, gaining notice and even acceptance.
