Liz Hamill Scott
I love traveling, eating, and writing, but it wasn’t until 2004 that it occurred to me to blend these three passions into a dream career. Now I work full-time as a freelance writer–a dangerous job in the writer-eat-writer-for-the-nutritional-value economic climate of 2009. It’s the hardest job I’ve ever worked, but also the most fun and rewarding.
My travel writing has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Travel section, the Santa Cruz Sentinel, Cabin Life Magazine, Northwest Travel Magazine, and CoastViews Magazine. My food and drink articles (many complete with many original recipes) have appeared in Coastal Living, Home Cooking, Living Without, and the San Jose Mercury News.
Liz Scott lives and writes in San Jose, California. Her two cats help her career by laying on her arms while she types.
