Virtual Photos and Real Doubts About the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

Pretty virtual pictures of the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner

They can call it whatever they want, but that still looks like a coach cabin to me. And dollars to double miles says that the airlines purchasing “Dreamliners” will configure the seats, especially in coach, for density rather than comfort. Just like every other jumbo jet in the sky.

It’s pretty. It’s shiny. It’s new. But don’t go booking your next flight on a B-787 just because you think you’ll get more leg room or some sort of different flying experience. BTDT with the Boeing 777. It’s a big, big plane. Boy, United stuffed a lot of seats into that plane.

I certainly can’t promise that your B-787 flight experience won’t be uh-may-zing, but I kinda doubt it. Sorry.
