Though Moon California is a selective, general travel guidebook that’s geared toward newcomers to the state, it’s also got plenty of good stuff for folks who live in CA.
It’s also got Liz. That is, my beloved publisher (Avalon Travel Publishing) did not edit my voice out of the text. Expect plenty of snark, a touch of sarcasm, and the occasional less-than-100%-glowing description.
